Why Wednesday? – Carb Transfer
Often times, people focus only on the things they see on the surface, and sometimes don’t consider or understand the hidden pieces of the puzzle. We see people eating healthy food, working out, staying hydrated, meditating, and many of us think how does this person stick to such a strict regimen of clean eating and training and we then often conclude, “I could never do that, nor would I want to! I want to enjoy life and the treats around us.” Well, when done right, we can sometimes have the best of both worlds.
While most of us do our best to eat clean, stick to a healthy lifestyle, and believe commitment is the key to success in all aspects of life but there are also times when it’s not TERRIBLE to stray from these ideals. Don’t get me wrong, a lot of us love our vegetable smoothies, quinoa, almond milk, Nutrasumma Apple Pie Pea Protein, and Greens shakes. The knowledge that each time we enjoy one of those healthy options we are improving our lives, our health and growing closer to our untapped potential, but who doesn’t love donuts, and pizza, and BAGELS, and pretzels, and… well, you get the picture.
The trick is understanding what is good, what is bad, and how you can amplify the good effects and reduce the bad effects. The good is largely covered in what we call the 80/20 rule. The idea is to overwhelm us with good choices by 80%, and only allow 20% of the bad choices. One of the ways we can reduce the “bad” is with a product called Carb Transfer, by Nutrasumma. The idea behind Carb Transfer is to limit the absorption of sugars and starches by the body, adjusting the way they are digested/absorbed. Carcinia cambogia directs carbohydrates to glycogen storage instead of fat deposition while white kidney bean extract inhibits the digestion of starches, limiting their caloric impact. Irvingia gabonensis (African mango) enhances the action of leptin, a fat-burning hormone and the blend of soluble fibers delays gastric emptying, which slows carbohydrate absorption. *

Long story short, utilizing Carb Transfer before a cheat meal reduces the negative impact of that cheat. This gives us the ability to enjoy our journey toward improved health and wellness with some planned “missteps” on our way towards success. Overall, we should enjoy our lives, our food, and our journey to a better “me”. Which includes an occasional donut.
