Weekly Ambassador “HealthStyle” Q&A with Lynee Palacios

Each week we have the pleasure of sitting down with one of our ambassadors to learn more about their “HealthStyle” The importance of this is so not only can we get to know them better but you as well. This week we sat down with Lynee Palacios who is a Naturopathic Medical Student. Read below to learn more about her favorite breakfast, smoothie, her health montra and so much more!

NS – WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE DAILY SUPPLEMENTS?
Lynee – At least 3,000 mg of Omega-­‐3, 3-­‐5 grams of Vitamin C, 10,000 mcg’s of BioCn, 500 mcg’s of B-­‐12, 1000 IU’s of Vitamin D, 500 mg of Turmeric root, and a serving a day of Complete for Women and Summa Lean from Nutrasumma. Recently I’ve been taking Multi-­‐Stress from Nutrasumma before bed and have felt better upon waking up. (Glutamine Plus, Creatine Plus, and Amino Clear on days that I train legs).
 

NS – WHAT ARE SOME THINGS YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT?

Lynee – Summa Lean, Vitamin C, and Coconut oil.

NS – WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DAILY BREAKFAST?

Lynee – I love eggs with coconut oil and a side of greens such as broccoli, spinach, kale, and bell peppers.

NS – WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WORKOUT?

Lynee – I enjoy doing a 20 minute high intensity interval training with a combination of weight/ resistance training and some body weight workouts.

NS – ONCE A WEEK FOR MY HEALTH I?

Lynee – Meditate and perform yoga exercises

NS – AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK I COOK?

Lynee – Salmon.. I’m obsessed with salmon and could have it in every meal!

NS – WHAT IS YOUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY IN ONE SENTENCE?

Lynee – Food is meant to nourish and strengthen our bodies, heal us from any sickness and prevent us from developing degenerative diseases.

NS – WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT MANTRA?

Lynee – I am healthy, happy, and have limitless potential!!!

NS – WHAT IS YOUR GO-­‐TO SMOOTHIE?

Lynee – Mint chocolate smoothie: Ice, coconut milk, chocolate pea protein, cacao powder, peppermint oil, spinach, coconut oil, and cinnamon

Here’s my favorite recipe:

Favorite Food Recipe: Poached Salmon with Lemon Juice. Seasoned with dill weed, mustard powder, garlic, nutritional yeast, and cayenne pepper with a side of kale, broccolini, oyster mushrooms, and sauteed onions in garlic coconut aminos.

Favorite Dessert Recipe: I have too many but I love simple recipes such as dark chocolate covered strawberries, homemade pistachio ice-­‐cream, chocolate avocado mousse or dark chocolate brownies made from coconut flour, chocolate powder, eggs, coconut oil, water, almond milk, stevia, and chocolate and vanilla pea protein.
