Banana Pumpkin Pie

Another holiday must have recipe brought to you by our recipe connoisseur Lynee Palacios. Both the pie and the frosting include pea protein, bringing a deeper meaning to delicious and nutritious.

  • Prep: 10 mins
  • Cook: 30 mins

Ingredients

1 Banana

1 1/2 cups Pure pumpkin

1 tbsp Coconut Oil

1 1/2 scoops Vanilla pea protein

1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 tsp Cinnamon

Directions

1Preheat oven to 350. Blend all ingredients together. Pour in cake pan or pie pan. Bake for 30 minutes.

FROSTING INGREDIENTS:

8 oz of cream cheese (you can also use dairy/milk free cream cheese)

3/4 cup pure pumpkin puree

1 scoop Vanilla Pea Protein

1 tbsp of coconut butter

1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

1 tsp of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice.

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together very well. Apply after cake has cooled down for about 10 minutes.
