Kimberly Olson’s Holiday Top 3

In December’s email newsletter, we asked three of our brand ambassadors to share their top 3 things from this time of year. Kim is sharing with us 3 New Year’s Resolutions! She recommends to all of her clients to get super clear on their New Year commitments in order to make them lasting.

Top 3 Commitments:

  1. Take a look at your current diet and determine ways you can improve it (or really clean it up!). Try doing a short detox to kickstart your metabolism and offset some of the holiday overeating. Here’s a link to a 7-day detox, courtesy of Kim:

  2. Decide how many times a week you can exercise, for how long, and schedule it in just like any other appointment. It is ideal to pick the same days and times each week so your exercise routine becomes part of your lifestyle.

  3. Pick one thing that you can do for yourself on a weekly basis that helps manage your stress levels and is something you enjoy. This could be getting a massage every Saturday, reading for 15 minutes each night, or enjoying a relaxing bubble bath with soft music and candles. It’s important to take gentle care of yourself too!


Kim is a renowned nutrition and fitness expert and the creator of FitKim, a nutrition and fitness blog that teaches super busy moms how to be super healthy. Kim has earned two PhDs in Natural Health and Holistic Nutrition. She also is a certified Nutritional Consultant and an ACE Personal Trainer. She travels nationally to speak at schools, universities, and various health venues. Her newest goal is to create an in-home program to help moms integrate a healthy lifestyle into their families, as well as publish Cooking with FitKim and SuperFit Pregnancy.
