Ambassador Profile with Brendon Charles
A new week brings with it a new ambassador feature. This week we introduce you to Brendon Charles, a certified personal trainer. Brendon hails from Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in a very active and healthy family. He studied Marketing at Arizona State University and quickly discovered the corporate world was not for him. With a healthy addiction to the gym and a deep passion for weightlifting, training, and nutrition, Brendon became a personal trainer at the age of 28. He also is deeply involved with his community, coaching Pop Warner football. He loves helping people of all ages conquer their fears while crushing their health goals. Brendon is currently in the process of becoming a certified youth strength and conditioning coach as he feels there is a huge shortage of strength training and nutrition knowledge for kids today. On top of everything already mentioned, Brendon is also a signed fitness model in Boston and NYC. He has been featured in several health & fitness magazines and has worked with clients such as Puma, New Balance, and Diesel.
His motto of “Think big, take action, and always trust your journey” keep him going during his busy days. We are thrilled to welcome Brendon to the Nutrasumma family. Keep reading for his full question & answer session.

Brendon – Complete Men, SummaLean, Amino Clear, Alaskan Fish Oil, Growth, and Greens.
What can’t you live without?
Peanut Butter Protein Cookies
What’s a daily breakfast look like for you?
2 cups of oatmeal, Nutrasumma Greens, 4 hardboiled eggs, and orange juice.
What is your current favorite workout?
Currently, high intensity training. I also rotate between 30 different “core” exercises daily.
What do you do once a week for your health?
I add a detox day to rid my body full of any toxins, usually on Sundays.
What is your hydration routine?
I drink 1 gallon of water a day. I keep it with me literally everywhere I go! It’s the most important part of my daily health plan.
Best Fast Food option?
I’m a huge fan of Quest Bars, especially the cookies and cream.
Best healthy restaurant tips?
Ask for whole wheat bread on any sandwiches. Try to also order grilled or broiled instead of fried.
At least once a week you cook:
Chicken stir fry – my absolute favorite! I buy fresh vegetables and chicken the day of.
If you could give just one piece of health advice it would be:
Everyone’s body is completely different. Fine tune your diet and supplement intake by experimenting on yourself. There are a ton of health and fitness gurus out there; you must find what suits your body best. Get plenty of sleep and stick to a consistent exercise regimen.

4-7-8 sleeping method. Google it! It will change your life.
What’s your food philosophy in one sentence?
Eat to LIVE. Don’t live to eat.
What is the simplest way for people to improve their health?
Shop for the RIGHT food, not the WRONG ones. Stay on the outside perimeter of the grocery store. The aisles are never good and get you into trouble. Exercise your body and your mind. Stay motivated and never lose that relentless approach to reaching your goals.
What mantra are you currently repeating to yourself?
The only way to do great work is to LOVE what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matter of the heart, you’ll know it when you find it.
What’s your current health passion?
I am extremely passionate in learning the practice of yoga. I am still a newbie yogi, but I have been catching on pretty fast.
What’s one health trend to skip?
Shake weights … do they even still make those things? Nothing can replace hard work and dedication.
What’s a go-to smoothie for you?
Banana and Blueberry Protein
– 1 cup almond milk
– 1/2 serving plain unflavored Greek Yogurt
– 1/4 cup of blueberries
– 1/2 banana
– 1 scoop Nutrasumma Vanilla Pea Protein
– 3 grams glutamine
– ice cubes for desired thickness.
