IDP®, Immune Defense Protein, a third-generation of milk immune protein

What is IDP®?

IDP®, Immune Defense Protein, is a third-generation of milk immune protein sourced from New Zealand. The proteins in IDP® are the natural defense proteins isolated from fresh, pasteurized milk. The first generation milk immune ingredient was colostrum. Lactoferrin was the 2nd generation milk immune protein. Colostrum has proteins called immunoglobulins that enhance gut immunity.  But it doesn’t contain all of the IDP® proteins at effective levels.

The lower the MIC value the more effective the IDP is at killing the bacteria. A high value means it is relatively ineffective at killing/inhibiting. IDP is supporting the good and suppressing the bad bacteria.

(MIC) minimum inhibitory concentration is the lowest concentration of a chemical, usually a drug, which prevents visible growth of a bacterium or bacteria. It is also a very effective way of showing how IDP supports the microbiome and immune system. IDP effectively killing pathogens and inhibiting harmful viruses, while ineffective against probiotics and commensal species.

IDP® Benefits

IDP® contains immunoglobulins, lactoferrin, and all of the other milk immune proteins together.  That is what makes it so special and powerful. IDP® has 400 times more of these proteins than colostrum. It was a patented natural milk protein complex containing more than 50 bioactive proteins, proven to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-microbial properties.

Clinical trials after research showed New Zealand milk-derived patented ingredient is effective in Covid-19 protection.

Research completed by an independent US laboratory, showed IDP had the ability to protect cells from Covid-19, also reduced the severity of the virus’s symptoms, a key concern for sufferers of “long Covid”.

Studies showed, for oral care applications, IDP® has been consistently shown to be effective as an antimicrobial against common oral organisms, including Streptococcus pyogenes and Candida albicans. Reduced bad breath-causing bacteria paired with Listerine. For dietary supplement applications, IDP® tested 25,500 mmol per 100g, putting it among some of the highest antioxidant superfruits.
